Configuration for any location
The SolarMount system is engineered for the
maximum flexibility possible in planning, locating, and installing
your PV array. On the roof or ground, SolarMount components assemble
into structures that support a variety of PV array configurations.
Design for high profile or low, whichever suits your unique site.
Never worry that it won't meet requirements. We can provide
you with whatever you want. Whether your plans call for a few
modules on a pole, a roof-mounted grid-tied array, or a megawatt in
a field, we have your PV mounting solution.
UniRac's products are carefully engineered and
rigorously subjected to destructive testing. Their program of PE
certification has earned the confidence of customers and facilitates
a quicker, well documented inspection process.
Flush Mounted - High and Low Profile -
For the roof or
other mounting surface
PV modules can sit in high profile (rails parallel
to rafters) or low profile (rails perpendicular to rafters). Top
mounting clamps are the norm with this type of installation. If
bottom mounting clips are selected, be sure to plan for access to
secured L-feet during installation.
High Profile Tilt Legs -
On the ground,
flat roof, or pitched roof
High profile orientation maximized module density at your site.
Tilt angle depends on leg length and rail length. Get sizing
information from page 13 of the SolarMount Master Price List and
Sizing Chart (1.3 MB). Use either top mounting clamps or bottom
mounting clips. For module-to-rail sizing, see page 4 or 5. You can
also download the installation manual for high profile tilt legs.
Low Profile Tilt Legs -
On the ground, flat
roof, or pitched roof
Low profile orientation minimizes the vertical height of your
array. Hide it behind a parapet, for example. You can also optimize
tilt angle on a pitched roof. Tilt angle depends on leg length and
the make and model of your PV modules. Get sizing information from
page 12 of the SolarMount Master Price List and Sizing Chart (1.3
MB). Use either top mounting clamps or bottom mounting clips. For
module-to-rail sizing, see page 4 or 5. You can also download
installation instructions for low profile tilt legs.
Two Tiered Shared Rail
- On the ground, flat roof, or pitched roof
Two to ten modules can be mounted in portrait mode. Junction plates secure
rails on both sides of interior rails. This configuration is an
upgrade of our former U-DD. Complete information
appears on page 15 of our the SolarMount Master Price List and
Sizing Chart (1.3 MB). You can also download installation
instructions
